Britt Ostrowski Waterfield is a dedicated educational advocate and consultant with a passion for empowering students and families. Specializing in learning differences, ADHD/Executive Functioning Coaching, and Academic Coaching, Britt works hands-on with children, adolescents and adults to help them navigate academic challenges with confidence and success. Through personalized support, she collaborates closely with families, students, educators, and school teams—ensuring that every student receives the accommodations, instruction, and advocacy they need to thrive.

With an unwavering commitment to fostering strong partnerships, Britt believes in the power of collaboration to build supportive, student-centered learning environments. She champions the integration of academic growth and social-emotional learning, creating pathways for students to develop self-efficacy, independence, and a positive academic identity.

Britt brings 34 years of experience from the Montgomery County Public School System, where she served in multiple roles, including classroom teacher, reading coach, interventionist, consulting teacher, and reading specialist. A certified Orton-Gillingham (OG) trained reading specialist, she is deeply knowledgeable in the Science of Reading and multisensory literacy instruction, ensuring that students receive evidence-based, high-quality literacy support.

Beyond her work in public schools, Britt has been a facilitator with UnboundEd’s Standards Institute for English Language Arts, where she has championed equitable access to learning and high-quality instruction for all students. She remains at the forefront of literacy research and instructional best practices, continually advocating for effective, research-based approaches that unlock every student's potential.
